Sir Walter Scott

A six night self-guided walking holiday  celebrating  the  extraordinary contribution to Scottish life of the author of Ivanhoe and the Waverley novels. His romantic view of Scottish history brought Scott fame the world over and was the inspiration for Donizetti’s opera Lucia di Lammermoor.
